Hypothetical Scenario: What would you do if you were a student trapped inside a school with a shooter?

By trapped I’m assuming I can't leave.

By ‘a shooter’ I'm assuming there's only one.

Firstly I would notify the police, if possible, and ask for an ETA. If they're going to be there quick and I can find somewhere to hide, I would do so.

Otherwise, I would try to incapacitate (read: kill) the shooter.

Improvised weapons are still weapons. Depending on my location in the school and where I could get to, this would either be real easy or real hard.

Science labs: scalpel.

Kitchens: knife.

Anywhere else: scissors.

The aim would be to use stealth and likely superior close combat abilities to my advantage. If I can get to the shooter without getting shot, I have a decent chance of winning.
