I believe that the more time people spend in the US, the more they will like the US.
We are a welcoming nation. People who’ve always been despised by their neighbors migrate here and are accepted by their neighbors. All over the country church groups are organized to help immigrants. Yes, Christian church groups in the south help Muslim immigrants. People who have been persecuted for their religions migrate to the US and find their religious freedom protected. People who’ve been unemployed and living in poverty migrate here, find jobs, and live better.
People who migrate to the US can begin to think of themselves as Americans, in addition to the national, religious, and other groups with which they identify. People who migrate here very quickly have a lot to lose if bad things happen here.
If they live here, they are more likely to be friendly Muslims. If they still live in a war zone, they are more likely to be terrorists.
A Trump Presidency and persecution of American Muslims would throw away all America’s advantages in the war on terrorism.
