- I think that men transitioning into women is the result of internalized toxic masculinity. They couldn’t find any security in their masculinity so they found a convenient out. I don’t support the notion that they were somehow cheated out of being born their desired gender during gestation, but that they’re men who identify as women. You can argue that its harmful to their self-image but I can counter with the fact that another person’s feelings about their self-image isn’t my or anyone elses problem in the grand scheme of things. Physically assaulting them and denying them their basic human rights? Yes, thats harmful. But its hard to take that demographic seriously, specifically white trans-women as they seem to be the most eager to assert their victimhood, when they take my disagreement with how they present themselves as a condemnation of their entire being. Part of its the hormones, as it essentially resets their emotional maturity and they end up going through puberty all over again, so they take criticism about as well as a 14 year old. I don’t prefix my gender with cis because I refuse to change my gender identity because someone else was unsatisfied with theirs. I’m a woman, and you’re free to draw whatever conclusions you want.
- People who call themselves sapiosexual and/or demisexual seem like the most insufferable people to be around. You’re not profound because you require an emotional connection and mental stimulation in order to be sexually attracted to someone, as most people require that whether they’re conscious of it or not. Its pretentious and something that people who are terribly afraid of being normal in any capacity use to distinguish themselves from everyone else. Adding to that, I think using your sexuality identity to give yourself an edge is cheap and juvenile.
- As a black woman I have 0 sexual attraction to black men and a predominant attraction to white men. You can think I’m a race traitor, self-hating, a fancy girl, or generally just a poor excuse for a black woman. I have no qualms with black men dating white/hispanic/asian women. If you’ve ever been accused of being white or anti-black for pursing your own interests then I can understand why.
- I hate being called “sister/sistah”. Just because we’re both black doesn’t mean that we’re family.
