I hate pandas.
I really hate pandas, so much effort has been put in to save a species that doesn't seem adaptable enough for the modern world.
Pandas mainly eat fresh bamboo so essentially they support A 100kg frame on a diet of sticks.
The diet of sticks is so low in calories that they have to spend almost all thier time eating, evolution did not design pandas this way they chose it they have the body of a carnivore with all the teeth and digestive juices to match but choose to eat sticks.
We have wasted billions of pounds on panda conservation when they serve no useful purpose other than being cute, what about all the rhinos, elephants and tigers that could have benefitted from all that extra attention.
Imagine if all that money was spent on lowering child mortality in India or Africa your £2 a month to save the pandas could have saved a childs life, we could have lost the next Newton or Einstein to dysentery or something similar all because we gave money to save the pandas instead.
If only one more person hates pandas because of this I have done my job.
