Oh, I just HAVE to answer this, as it happened yesterday!!
I took my step-daughter and her friend to Emerald City ComiCon yesterday. We could go up to and talk to different celebrities and they were both THRILLED to see Sean Maguire from the show Once Upon a Time was there for a meet and greet.
They walked up (read: followed behind me nervously/excitedly) to meet him and I had to keep saying: 'It's ok girls! Calm down, he's still just a person. Deeeep breaths!'. When it was our turn to greet him, he shook our hands and saw that they were just beside themselves! Not only did he take the time to really talk to us (read:me. The girls were literally speechless) and ask about the convention, etc- He actually stood up, walked around his panel, and gave us all hugs!
At which point both girls burst into tears.
They actually talked to him twice after that and he made the point of saying that he remembered us and gave them advise for the event.
Such a genuinely kind man who made these young ladies absolutely giddy for the rest of the day- I could go on about their talks with him, but he definitely made a wonderful impression. We talked to and met several celebs that day, but he certainly stands out for being so genuine and so graciously kind with my overly giddy girls!
