What have people learned from resigning?

I was 23 years old when I resigned my first job. My resignation gave me the biggest yet a necessary jolt to my life.

My reasons for resigning were simple and immature. I was unhappy at my job since the pay scale was too low compared to my friends working in Silicon Valley. I hallucinated that I will become a hero by resigning boldly and dramatically. The after-effects of my decision made me a man.

I learnt that one should not quit a job without concrete plans or some other opportunity in hand.

It may take forever to find your next job. It took me six months to find mine in a foreign country.

There is nothing like a dream job or a perfect job. One should learn to enjoy doing the smaller and boring tasks of their jobs.

One needs a stable source of income to meet his needs. A paycheck is better than no paycheck.

Never belittle any job, especially first job.
