Definitely my Bat Mitzvah dress.
That's me trying to smile for a picture but then getting distracted by something.
That's me with my mom—her face is kind of blocked by the light, which is what I intended.
My dress was a very interesting color—iridescent teal purple. It shimmered with different colors depending on the light, and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.
But it was expensive. My Bat Mitzvah was over four years ago; I've since forgotten how much it cost, but it was the most expensive article of clothing I've ever purchased.
Edit:
In case you’re wondering, I normally wear glasses but I took them off for the occasion. When you turn into a woman and you’re in a bunch of pictures, wearing glasses isn’t a good idea. So, for my Bat Mitzvah, I couldn’t see things very well. :P
