Beginning this weekend, the capital of Texas will be rocking.
The 17th annual Austin City Limits Music Festival kicks off the first of two weekends packed with live musical performances and entertainment.
Named after the PBS show “Austin City Limits,” the festival started in 2002 as a one-weekend event, featuring 67 bandsand live performers and 25,000 attendees. It’s since turned into a massive two-weekend celebration with upward of 450,000 concertgoers.
Along with the live music, festival attendees can enjoy great food from local vendors during ACL Eats, stop by ACL Market to shop for items from local merchants, or check out the giveaways and events around the park.
This year’s lineup features headliners including Paul McCartney, Metallica, Arctic Monkeys and The National.
Want to work for the organization behind this event? Live Nation, parent company of festival organizer C3 Presents, is looking for a marketing manager in Salt Lake City.
