- Basic first-aid supplies (bandages, gauze and gauze tape, aloe vera, Neosporin or an equivalent, alcohol wipes, tweezers, sports bandages, a pop-and-shake cold pack, and plastic gloves, at the very least)
- A Swiss Army knife or better
- A watch
- A small flashlight (and batteries, if needed)

- A bottle of water
