Will humans ever reach a point, scientifically, where we have discovered everything?

No…but not for the reason you might think. The universe is a really big place, but it may not be infinitely big. If it’s not, then we may very well figure the whole thing out.

So why did I say “no”?

Because if “we” ever figure everything out, “we” won’t be human anymore.

That kind of knowledge and understanding will require an absolutely massive expansion of our cognitive abilities and memory. I highly doubt biology alone will be sufficient - we’ll need technology and engineering along with biology to get anywhere close to this level understanding.

At this point, we’ll be more machine than man, brilliant and omniscient.

So can we know everything? Maybe. Will we be humans when that happened? No. We will have evolved far beyond our current state.
