Realistically I'd be in shock. I wouldn't fight the shooter. I just wouldn't, even if I would like to think so from the comfort of my chair.
The first thing I'd do after hearing gunshots would be to determine if I could get the fuck out of the school. Maybe open a window or something.
If someone else was nearby and could be easily extracted, I would help them out as well.
Then, when I was sure I was safe (which might involve hiding in nearby woods), I would call the police.
If I escape safely/quietly, if the shooter wasn't in the same room, I would quickly find as good a hiding spot as I could, turn my phone sound down, and dial 911 from there.
If the shooter was close enough to hear that, I would find a hiding spot and just wait.
That is what I would do. Not particularly heroic, but probably very close to what I would actually do.
