When you sit down to create content, do you immediately think about your organization's blog? Does your mind start racing through potential blog post ideas and how you can use them to turn readers into customers?

There's nothing wrong with that—corporate blogs are a solid way to convert customers—but other types of content marketing could be even more effective at driving business.

Consider these findings:

  • Audiences are more likely to thoroughly consume videos, social media posts and news articles than blog posts.
  • Forty-five percent of audiences say they want to see more social media content. Only 29 percent say they want to read more blog posts.
