30 jobs in the PR and marketing world

There is a familiar chill in the air—at least for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere.

Soon, we’ll be cursing the biting wind and begging for a beach vacation.

That means it’s time to pack up our tank tops and break out our winter attire. For many consumers, a fleece top or winter jacket from The North Face serves as their protection from the elements.

Founded in 1966 as a mountaineering retail store, the outdoor apparel and equipment company has become one of the most well-known and profitable brands in the world.

The North Face landed on The Brand Finance Global 500 2017 list of the world’s most valuable brands and made the top 20 on the Apparel 50 2017 list of most valuable apparel brands.

Want to supply outdoor explorers and daily commuters the gear for their excursions? The North Face seeks a brand marketing manager at its headquarters in Almeda, California.

The person filling this position will develop and lead integrated marketing strategies that help increase brand awareness. The candidate must be an experienced brand manager, as the position requires a minimum of six years’ marketing or related experience and a history of managing high-volume marketing teams with a budget of $20 million or more.

The North Face describes the role:

Reporting to the Director of Integrated Marketing, this role is responsible for driving brand strategy that creates demand for The North Face products, establish brand credibility and accelerate growth across all product categories. This role is responsible for driving thinking that will ensure long-term brand health and working with key partners to execute these strategies.
