Geek Estate Newsletter #25 – The Waking of the 800 Pound Gorilla(s)

The purpose of Geek Estate’s mastermind community is two fold:

In this week’s member newsletter (#25), I talk about the 800 pound gorillas that are awakening: Realogy, Zillow, and BofA. The meat of the article was informed by a talk with ERA’s new CEO, Simon Chen (a longtime read of this blog, and now a mastermind member). I also touched on a retail as a service company, b8ta.

In the “Built World reads” section, I included As new transit startups take over streets and sidewalks, cities need to step up by Patrick Sisson on Curbed. How do cities regulate the array of new micro-transit options (bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc.)?
