At first I was just not going to look, I was done, no more of this. Before my profile was completely erased from the site I clicked the alert and read the mail. That was a life changing 2 second decision that I am grateful I was compelled to make.
I met my soul mate, we married 8 months after that email and we have been happily married going on 11 years now. We have been together almost 24-7 since that first date. We created a business together, work side by side, live and play together, suffered loss together, created a dream together and it never gets old. One would think you would get tired and bored with someone after that much time together but I have seen, and I know, that if it is a true "meant to be" connection, it will always be fresh. That decision made in 2002 was the best gut instinct decision I ever made.
I am happy I listened to my inner voice at that very moment. It's all good!
