If you want to understand everything wrong in US politics, you only need to look at this question.
It’s factually inaccurate, and the actual facts are merely a Google away, but the OP didn’t want to know the truth, he just wanted to make a point, regardless of accuracy.
Not only is it wrong, but the right answer isn’t even wanted.
Even common sense isn’t present here, Trump has been in office for a few weeks, it’s just not feasible for any policy changes to make a substantive difference in this time.
It’s also very indicative of the tribalism in US politics, the OP doesn’t care about unemployment, he cares about sticking it to ‘liberals’. Getting one over on the other side is what this is about.
It also offers no supporting evidence, as none would be found, or at least, not from a reputable source. But this doesn’t matter, we’re into post-truth here, evidence is soooo 90s.
Tribalism check, alt-facts check, lack of basic logic check.
