I was at work and went to use the restroom. Getting back to my desk, I realized I had forgotten to put a five dollar bill back into my wallet from earlier.
Reaching into my pocket, I realized the bill was gone. I thought dang; I retraced my steps and didn’t see it anywhere. Chalking it up as gone, I moved on with the day, it wasn't worth getting upset over five dollars.
About an hour later, a company email blast gets sent out saying someone found the $5 on the ground and turned it in to HR.
I was shocked someone actually turned the money in when it would have been so easy to keep. It said a lot about that person’s character.
