What is the most humane gesture you have ever encountered?

Few weeks ago I was traveling in a Mumbai local. A transgender came and politely asked for money. He didn't say a word to the people who didn't give him money. After collecting money when the next station arrived, he was about to get down, a child beggar of around 7 or 8 years entered the compartment. Now something happened which I had never seen. The transgender gave the child his entire day's collection (around 200 rupees) and got down at the station and went away.

That was one of the most amazing thing that I ever witnessed. That changed my perspective towards transgenders. I realized we should not be looking at them the way people generally do. They are humans having feelings just like you and me. Some are bad but definitely there are some good guys.
