You have it backwards. Low wages are a competitive advantage for many countries. A compulsory higher wage would harm their workers, not help them.
Think of it this way: If a country could produce cars at a cheaper price for export, would you seriously say it would help that country if they were forced to sell the same cars at a higher, less competitive, price, leading to fewer sales?
In any case, the effect of such a global minimum wage would devastate the developing world, essentially locking them out of global trade. It would force millions of workers into underground economies and black markets of drug trafficking and prostitution.
