Everyone was in on the joke except my buddy. When our tough
Master Sergeant delivered the official papers with a glum face and
consoling words, I started snickering. But Foghorn Leghorn was
too distraught to notice me losing it in the corner.
He called his wife and relayed the bad news. I could hear her
shrieking from across the room. That's when we stopped the gag.
All these years later, he is still plotting his demonic revenge...
