For instance, take McDonalds. Why does it exist? It exists to sell hamburgers and milkshakes and fries and so on. Mostly not to rich people. When a person goes to McDonalds he helps employ the cooks, cashiers and so on. The capitalist tries to make the company work with as few employees as is profitable.
Corporations do not exist to make jobs. They exist to make money.
