- Your muscles would likely be a lot less developed than they are on Earth, as movement is less strenuous on the theoretical planet.
- You would also probably see some major height differences between Earthlings and these humans.
- Finally, these people's bones would be noticeably weaker than humans.
But consider something more interesting:
The Earth's gravity pulls down on their exoskeletons so much that if the insects were any larger, they would be unable to move.
A planet with half of the gravity of Earth would, if it had a solid surface, would most likely have evolved lifeforms closer to ants or termites before going to primates... and these insects would likely develop a complex civilization before any competing species would have the chance to figure out tools. On a planet like that, insects would be the dominant species... which is probably why our first interstellar contact will likely look more like a bee than ET.
