This is my favorite photo of my two pugs, Sadie and Sophie. They were just young puppies here, but are now nine years old. My husband was lying on the sofa, and they were lying on/behind him.
This is them at age nine, in the same order, with Sadie on the left, and Sophie on the right.
And this is Dolly Maddison, our first pug who started it all. She turned my husband and me into such pug nuts that, when we lost her, we got two pugs. In this photo I had just bathed her and had draped the towel over her to lift her from the tub. And yes, her tongue really was that long. ;) We used to wonder if it would even fit all the way in her mouth. But to us, that was just more of her wonderful charm.
