We lost my younger brother in a shopping mall back when I was 10 years old. The story started when my parents were shopping in the mall. Both of us were standing beside them and everything was ok, anyway, my younger brother saw a shop that sells bags; and he thought it would be cool if he buys each of us a bag as a surprise. So we were walking and he suddenly disappeared out of sight without telling us, and my father decided to go home because he was really tired since he didn't have a good sleep, and by the time we reached our car; I don't know how we didn't notice that we lost him, and he drove us back home and my brother is not with us, the moment we reached home, my father asked where my brother is, that's when he realized that he's not with us. At that moment my father went crazy! He immediately drove us back to the mall to search for him, and on the road he was driving crazy and crying to the point where police stopped us, and my father kept saying to the policeman with tears “leave me alone, my son is lost” and actually the policeman was a good guy, he a left us and said “just be careful”. And we reached the mall, and the moment we entered the mall gate, we found my younger brother with a security guy along with the little bags he was going to surprise us with (I don't really remember how he got the bags). I saw my father smiling as he was completely relieved from the stress, and happy crying, and he hugged my brother and told him to never do that again. During this incident I realized that having children is not an easy job, it's hard and takes a lot of efforts; and my father was definitely a legend that day.
I will definitely tell my future kids about this incident, because, I want the them to realize how much I love them and how much I'd sacrifice to keep them safe.
