What is the most terrifying experience you have had while travelling?

I was traveling in Malaysia in December 2015. So I was staying at this hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

At around 1 am in the morning I went to the nearest 7/11, to buy a pack of cigarette. After I bought the cigarette and while walking back to my hotel, I was stopped by a police car. To my surprise there were two tamil Indian guys sitting in the car wearing no uniform and asked me in Hindi if I have a passport and visa to make me more surprised.

I said them I have passport and visas, please come to the hotel and I will show you everything you want. But they acted more aggressive saying I don't have a visa, that I am illegally staying there and I have to go to the police station, and then they forced me to get in to the car saying they will take me to the police station. (All this time they spoke to me in Hindi while I was speaking to them in English, Yes i can understand Hindi though I can't speak).

While I was in the car with them, they both were speaking in a different language perhaps malaysian or tamil which really gave me bad vibes. I was thinking something really terrible might happen if I don't do something right now. So I was seating in the backseat and punched the navigator in the front and opened my door and jumped out of the car in the street hurting my right elbow and hip. The car was moving at probably 60 kmph.

The moment I fell on the road, the car accelerated so fast and ran off from the scene with their door open. Then behind me after I fell on the road and slided, a Malaysian guy(at least he didn't look like a tamil) driving his car stopped immediately and asked me what has happened. I described him everything and after that I got a taxi and got back to the hotel. After I  have come to the hotel the receptionist in the hotel said that they were not really police, it's quite common someone at night to act like a Police to do hijackings and stuffs. Which made me more surprised and this incident kept me a bit nervous during my trip in Malaysia but the positive thing about that incident was it made me much more fearless.

The incident occurred on the day I arrived in Malaysia. I arrived in the evening 10 pm in my hotel and it happened around 1am, within 4 hours of my first time trip to Malaysia.
