Well in the magic event that everything continues to work (electricity, Internet, etc), my life won't change much. I'll just read tons of shit on the Internet, and watch re-runs and old movies. All of the fandoms I belong to will be completely dead, which sucks, but at least no one will care when I steal art.
In the true event that everyone has just disappeared and all electricity and computer networks will be gone within the week, time to get serious. And by get serious I mean move into my local army base and eat MRE packs until I can set up a farm. If I want fresh meat, well I'll be hunting with an SA80. They have generators there, and a good diesel supply, so I will have local electricity. Video games, DVDs/ videos (do they even still exist?), books, etc. will keep me entertained. Quite frankly I can see myself talking to characters to maintain at least the illusion of human contact. I'll also keep a dog around, to stave off the loneliness.
I'll also gather up any luxury items that won't spoil. I'd drive past and break into nicer looking houses to see if they have anything worth taking (technically it's not stealing, since I'm not taking it off anyone else). I'm an amateur mechanic, so I could probably keep a sports car working. Hopefully I can find a Lamborghini. Things like nice looking jewlery I'd keep, and probably find some really comfy clothes (assuming I'm not already walking round naked, which is a possibility). Also, entertainment items, magazines, alcohol, cigarettes (without medical help I'm probably going to die of disease by the time I'm 40 anyway, so why not?), coca-cola (should last), etc etc.
