What kind of trouble did you cause in school?

In high school I had a bad habit of correcting teachers and asking them questions that challenged their statements.  Most of my teachers tolerated this and some of them even liked me.  But my government teacher (who knew very little) took offense to my challenges and we got into verbal skirmishes.  I don't remember much about them, but at one point she told her other classes I was racist.  I'm not actually racist, and my questions had nothing to do with her being black, but I guess she found it convenient to play that card.

Eventually the principal got wind of this and I spent sixth period in the principal's office for the rest of the quarter.  After the quarter my teacher was fired and I got to come back to class.  I ended up with a 5 on the exam.

I stopped correcting teachers after that, but now that I'm in college the typical response to a challenge is "Thank you."
