My handwriting is very unstable and tends to vary. Unfortunately, this reflects in my signature. Over the years, my signature has become shorter and shorter. Today, it's hardly two letters long (with a pattern, of course). However, after all these years, I'm still not used to writing/drawing it effortlessly. Many documents of mine, especially bank documents, have been rejected because my signatures either don't match each other on the same application, or with my passport, or credit card, or something else. As a result, when I'm asked to sign something, I get nervous at the prospect of messing up; my heart rate goes up and my hand becomes invariably shaky. I first practice it on a bit of scrap paper and then put it down on the document. Yeah.
After fifteen years, I don't expect this problem to ever get fixed.
