Because I don’t only care about my own child. I care about my neighbor’s child who can’t be vaccinated. I care about the kids for whom the vaccination, for whatever reason, doesn’t take. I care about the elderly who may have lost their protection and the immune compromised. And I care about the unvaccinated child whose parents are risking her life, having bought into a completely unsupported anti-science narrative. And I care that some day I may have to explain to my child why his friend is dead of a completely preventable disease.
