One day, someone looked at a lovely piece of salmon or tuna and thought ‘I'm going to surround that with metal and leave it there for a couple months, in a watery, salty mess that will cause it to slowly fall apart and become ever so slightly digested in its own enzymes and by bacteria. Then I'm going to eat it.’
And if that doesn't explain why I hate the taste of tinned fish, and why I find the entire concept slightly nauseating, nothing will.
