If Canada were to be attacked right now, what would USA do?

Canada is probably the closest thing we have to a brother. So all the mumbo jumbo about immediate counter attacks and NATO, while correct, I'd a vast understatement.
     We would unleash the full fury of US military power to drive them out, and them go to thier house and trash it. In other words, Canada would feel about 15 minutes of fear.
