In any explosive decompression, it is the outrushing atmosphere, PUSHING objects before it, that does all the work. There is nothing in the vacuum to pull. The appearance of suction is just an illusion. In space and here on earth, any time you think a an area of low pressure is sucking, what’s really happening is that a higher pressure area is pushing.
