Whole Foods is nature’s way of telling you that you have too much money to spend on food. Their active, vocal anti-science stance on GMOs would be enough to keep me away from the place even if I did feel like wasting that much money.
They may have a few good products, but it’s an thoroughly unethical company worthy of boycott.
Sidebar: My daughter worked retail selling beauty supplies. She and her coworkers had descriptions of their most annoying and clueless customers. There were Berkeley women, and then there were the Whole Foods customers. They were the ones who wanted gluten free shampoo or chemical free nail polish. Easy prey for Whole Foods.
