What kind of reality only happens in the movies?

Airports are not under construction.

Cars explode when they crash (rather than just crash, or possibly burn). Similarly for all vehicles.  (When is the last time you've driven by a car crash scene where the vehicle actually exploded?)

Distant explosions are heard the moment you see the explosion, not delayed by 5 seconds per mile distance.  Thunder is heard simultaneously with the lighting flash, not delayed. Same for fireworks and cannon fire.

Someone overhearing a conversation for just a few moments always does so at the critical moment, just when they are describing exactly when the robbery will take place, or where the terrorist attack will be.

This question is addressed in an amusing way in "The Last Action Hero."  Jack Slater (played by Arnold  Schwarzenegger) is a film character, and the young boy Danny, who magically enters the film, tries to convince Jack that his reality is not real.  He points out that all the saleswomen in the department store are beautiful, and that all phone numbers start with 555.
