However, if you want to call up President Donald Trump’s home and workplace to voice youf displeasure, you’re now out of luck.
The White House will no longer allow private citizens to call up and record complaints (or praise) for the current administration.
Instead, when you call the comment line at 202-456-1111, you’ll get a message that the “comments line is currently closed.” People are encouraged to either head to the White House website or visit the White House Facebook page to share your feelings in a comment.

The change wasn’t the idea of Trump’s administration. Former President Barack Obama’s administration has been transitioning people from phone lines to publishing comments online.
Though the comment line is closed, users can still call 202-456-1414 to get the switchboard that will direct the caller to the appropriate department. You can eventually get through to a live person if you follow the instructions for rotary phone users to stay on the line.
What do you think of the move, PR Daily readers?
