Now that Clinton and Trump seem to be nearly even in the polls, how much damage is Jill Stein likely to do to Clinton's chances in November?

Not as much as Gary Johnson will do to the Republicans. Jill Stein is currently at around 2-6%. Gary Johnson is at around 8-10%. Johnson provides an option for decent Republicans who like "small government" rhetoric but can't stand Trump's racism and demagoguery.
