If it's “too late”, that implies that global warming is real.
And if global warming is real, then we should probably do something about it, right?
And I'm pretty sure that by “bothering people” you mean “saying that we should do someting”.
So, you are asking “If there is a really serious problem that could be even more serious in the future, will people who are (correctly) saying it is serious now stop saying it is serious when it is even more serious?”
Let me rephrase this to show just how silly it is:
“When it becomes too late to stop my lung cancer, will doctors and my family stop bothering me about my smoking?”
