Some people would, I’m sure. Some people get bored if they can’t find anything to do on a Sunday afternoon.
I do not believe that everyone would get bored, though. For example, I can’t imagine being bored. There is so much amazing magnificence in the natural world that ten thousand years wouldn’t be enough time to begin to put a dent in the things I want to explore and see and learn more about, and in that ten thousand years I would unquestionably discover still more to explore and see and learn more about. I mean, good Lord, the universe is a vast place, and there is so much awe and wonder in it!
I am always a bit puzzled by folks who are confronted with a handful of hours on a rainy Sunday and say “I’m bored.” Really? All the mystery and incredible beauty around you, and you can’t think of one single thing to entertain yourself with? You have access to an instantaneous worldwide communication network that puts the sum of human knowledge at your fingertips, and you’re bored?
I would have the opposite problem: I’m only one person, confined to one point in space at a time, and even if I lived for as long as the universe would live I would still not be able to do all the things I want to do. I suspect there would come a time far in the future where I would say “one body isn’t enough, is there a way for me to spread my consciousness out so that I can explore more than one thing at a time? Because, man, at the rate this is going, I won’t have time to see it all before the heat death of the universe.”
And I’m sure someone would say “but aren’t you afraid part of you would get bored?”
