Be right on time.
Get in the car, say hello and don't chat with others unless spoken to.
There are some exceptions, but I trust you can get in the car and “read the room”.
There I was in an uber pool. I was, like my fellow riders, absorbed into my phone mostly to not disturb anyone with impolite interaction.
The driver, weaving fast in and out of traffic suddenly exclaims "JESUS!" and slams on the brakes.
I jump 10 feet, actually thwack my head on the car ceiling.
All good. Jesus was the name of my co-pooler and we had arrived at his destination.
