I was a Mall Santa Claus. Something I really felt was the bottom of the pits. It turned out, though, to be most enjoyable. People want Santa Claus and I gave him to them. Of course I had my elf who took the photographs and and took the money. One day a Father and daughter arranged themselves for a picture, the daughter was on my knee, Dad to the side. The shot was taken but the man’s face was completely blurred, more than that, it was like someone has pressed a burning cigar into his face . We apologized and took another, slightly different position, and again his face was charred. We tried one more time, with the same results. We apologized. He was calm and seemed to actually know what was going on. We took a shot of the daughter gratis. He turned to me and said, “I am not of this world.” They left.
