What's the tl;dr of different countries' entire history?

Britain has probably already been done, but here's my version.

  • Celts are chilling happily, making sacrifices, cutting mistletoe, building Stonehenge. This lasts a few thousand years.
  • Romans show up, bring culture, promptly leave.
  • Christianity becomes a thing
  • The Anglos, the Saxons, and the celts have a good old fight. Anglos join Saxons and take and name Angloland (England).
  • The Danish, Finnish, and Swedish  show up. Burn a few monasteries, steal some gold, then settle.
  • William the Conqueror shows up. Unites all of England, starts the monarchy, yada yada yada.
  • All is good, wars with France, Wales, Scotland, and Spain. Eventually Wales and Scotland join England.
  • We rule the world for a few hundred years, leave about 20 countries un-invaded.
  • America kicks us out, most other countries follow suit.
  • Ireland gets bought, then partially given back.
  • World wars happen, we let America think they saved us.
  • Now we simply chill, slowly running out of money.
