How do liberals feel about unemployment rate going down to 4.5% due to President Trump's policies?
Unemployment rates are measured from 15th to 15th of the next month. So this change was measured between December 15th 2016 to January 15th 2017. Trump has been inaugurated on the Januray 20th. Which means that there were exactly 0 Trump policies in effect when these unemployment rates were measured. Therefore the claim that this change is due to Trump’s policies is utter hogwash. If it was due to anyone’s policies, they were Obama’s.
But even if it was not, which policies would that be? Deciding to build the wall? Banning muslims? Deregulating the financial market? None of this would have the power to be responsible for such a change.
Tomorrow it will be due to Trump’s policies if the sun shines. If it rains it is the liberals’ fault. And Trump supporters are gullible enough to believe it.
