And unlike the Egyptian Pyramids, Mesoamerican pyramids were built as temples and meant to be climbed, with massive staircases going up them. If you visit (and you're in good shape) you can ascend to the top of the Pyramid of the Sun or explore some of the tunnels excavated under Cholula.
