- I decided not to join the US Navy in 1974 after I caught them lying to me
- became a police cadet in a suburban Chicago town (best on the job training I could ask for)
- did not date my best friend's sisters (you read that right)
- chose some outstanding people to be my brothers and sisters
- became an EMT
- broke up with one of my other friend's sister (sometimes I just do not learn)
- joined the track team
- stood up to some bullies for a friend, short trip to the ER
- started critical listening to people older than me, followed some, disregarded to others, but only after careful consideration either way
- refused to listen to the Bee Gees
- started seeing myself 5, then ten, then 30 years ahead (I've peaked)
- questioned my faith, then questioned my questions
- put my weaknesses to work for me
Thanks for asking, Marissa.
