I'll just add one exception. And this is the only exception I would make -- it would be for those convicted of felony election fraud of some kind. Those people should never be allowed to vote again.
Otherwise, murderers, rapists, armed robbers, whoever, bring 'em on. As long as their sentences are over and they have completed them successfully, they need to be reintegrated into civil society and one of the best ways to do that is to get them involved in voting, even if they never voted before.
