Why does it matter who becomes president of the United States?

It matters most of all because of whom they will choose to sit on the Supreme Court when someone retires. Right now we have two dangerous maniacs there, who feel that the citizens' rights ought to go back to what they were in 1789. We can't afford any more nutjobs.
