Should I call in a noise complaint on a family with a crying baby?

My son was born prematurely and is prone to respiratory infections. Sometimes he wakes up at night coughing and crying. Sometimes it takes a while to settle him. When this happens, my next-door neighbors like to bang loudly on the wall. It's so helpful when they do that! Otherwise, my wife and I would just sleep right through our son's distress, blissfully unaware that his crying could possibly be bothering anyone. The neighbors should totally call in noise complaints! Then we'd really learn our lesson, and it would never be a problem again.
