Comparing yourself to others is so painful, and so useless: it's an illusion. You can't possibly know what is truly going on in someone els'ed life.
You are looking out when you should be looking in.
In other words, you are spending time and energy on your own delusions. They might or might not be real.
Please don't fall into the trap of assuming that things would improve if only you got a job - a promotion - material success.
There is nothing outside of you that will make this better. This requires an internal adjustment.
You need to exercise turning all the focus on yourself, what you want to accomplish and how you want to live your life.
The clearer you are on the nature of your own path, the less you will worry about what others are doing and the more you will realize that you cannot possibly desire, covet or miss out on what doesn’t truly interest you.
You will understand and respect that things unfold differently for every one of us.
The busier you are working on you, your life and your happiness, the less time you will have to dwell on another's success other than to celebrate it.
