Do you believe that videogame-inspired films can be critical successes? Will The Angry Birds movie be able to set standards for this?

We sure hope so! We set out to make a movie that we would plunk down fifteen bucks to go see on a Friday night. We love this film and we still laugh while we watch it, even after seeing it HUNDREDS of times by now. There are a lot of movies based on video games and most of them fall short, not just according to us, but to the fans of those games. We did everything in our powers to not make that mistake. We hope audiences will see it the same way, and if the critics like it too, all the better!
