I'm a progressive and I support Hillary Clinton because she can win.
I also support her because she cares about income inequality and finding ways to help those left behind since the 2008 global economic meltdown, because she supports women’s rights and the civil rights of ethnic and cultural minorities, and because she knows how to use the levers of government to accomplish things.
However, none of that would be any good if she couldn't win.
No progressive should support Gary Johnson; the Libertarians are philosophically opposed to most things progressives would like to do. And Jill Stein is a joke. She denies being an anti-vaxxer herself, but she panders to them, which is worse. And she is now going around claiming that wifi is dangerous to children’s brains. She seems wholly unprincipled.
Hillary Clinton is IT.
